Return & Exchange policy
Please note: In the Return & Exchange Policy outlined below, when we use terms like "we," "us," and "our," we are referring to the brand MARIA XENIA Studios, which is owned by MARIA XENIA Studios ApS. This means that legally, MARIA XENIA Studios and MARIA XENIA Studios ApS are considered the same entity as "we," "us," and "our."
All items sold on this webshop (https://mariaxenia.com/) are made-to-order and produced after the customer places the order. Ready-To-Wear (RTW) products may vary slightly from their depiction on our website; for instance, zippers, buttons, or stitch placement may differ depending on the materials sourced at the time of production. Minor design adjustments may also be made to improve product quality.
When ordering a custom-made or bespoke product, the buyer will participate in consultation meetings with a professional from our team to agree on individual terms regarding any adjustments.
For all purchased MARIA XENIA Studios products, a complimentary repair service is available, provided that a receipt or proof of purchase is presented.

RETURNS
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for products that are not customized or bespoke.
To request a return, please contact us before sending your item back. Items returned without prior authorization will notbe accepted.
To qualify for a return, the item must:

Be returned in its original packaging

Include the original receipt or proof of purchase
Please note:

All shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the client.

MARIA XENIA Studios cannot be held liable for parcels lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. For items valued over 100 euros, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

Original shipping fees, as well as any incurred duties or taxes, are non-refundable.
Refunds:
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at maria.wallentin@hotmail.com.
European Union 14 day cooling off period:
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
EXCHANGES
If you wish to exchange an eligible non-customized item, you may do so within 14 days of delivery. The same conditions as for returns apply.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Exchanges can be made for:

A new item, or

A gift card equal to the value of your original order (excluding shipping).
FAULTY PRODUCTS & RECLAMATIONS
If you receive a faulty or defective product, you may submit a reclamation within the statutory time limits set by the EU. Please contact us immediately with a detailed description and proof of purchase, if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
After inspection, if the product is deemed defective, we will offer a replacement, repair, or refund.
REPAIR SERVICE
We offer a complimentary repair service for all our products when a receipt or proof of purchase is provided.
Shipping costs for sending items to us for repair are the responsibility of the client.

TAXES AND DUTIES
Product prices are listed in Euros or Danish Crowns and include taxes, but exclude customs duties.
Any applicable customs duties are the responsibility of the customer.
